OVERVIEW
This project focuses on designing a short, engaging compliance training that helps learners apply policies in real situations—not just memorize them. The final solution is a 10-minute interactive module with scenarios, knowledge checks, and a final assessment.
THE CHALLENGE
- Traditional compliance training often fails because it focuses on rules instead of real-world application.
- Low engagement
- Limited practice
- Difficulty applying policies
- Risk of poor decisions

THE SOLUTION
I designed a scenario-based learning experience where learners:
-
Make decisions in realistic situations
-
Receive immediate feedback
-
Apply policies in context.
The course includes an introduction, policy overview, three scenarios, and a final assessment.
COURSE EXPERIENCE
Learners move through a simulated workday and respond to ethical dilemmas such as:
Handling missed deadlines honestly
Identifying ethical workplace behavior
Responding to compliance risks.
DESIGN PROCESS
- Needs analysis
- Learning objectives

DESIGN DECISIONS
- Focused on performance, not memorization
- Kept it short (10 minutes) for busy employees
- Used realistic scenarios to increase engagement
- Included immediate feedback
- Designed for accessibility and mobile use
JOB AID
I also created a quick reference job aid to support learners on the job.
